How to disable Recycle Bin from the Windows 10 Desktop

20 years ago Recycle Bin comes with Windows 95, Recycle Bin can be used to view and restore the files deleted by the user. Recycle Bin is found on the desktop so that the user is able to easily view deleted files and restore it. But not every user wants or needs the Recycle Bin on their desktop, because they prefer a clean desktop with minimal or no icons. If you are such a user, here’s how you can remove the Recycle Bin icon from the desktop in Windows 10.

How to disable Recycle Bin from the Windows 10 Desktop

To disable the Recycle Bin in Windows, you can follow these steps so that Windows permanently deletes all deleted files directly without sending to Recycle Bin.

1) you just need to right-click on the Recycle bin icon on your desktop and then choose the option properties.

2) Now a new dialog box will appear where you will see two radio buttons and there you need to tick on the Don’t move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted.

3) Done, now click on apply and ok.
